If you have had a Kouing-aman you have probably been to Brittany (France) or just to Les Madeleines in Salt Lake.  I have been to Brittany a couple of times, and I just LOVED Kouing-aman's.  I actually gained 15 pounds in 2 weeks when I was there because of this delicious, buttery, carmely, sweet pastry--and for those of you who know me, you know that takes some effort!
  My husband heard on the radio that they sell them in Salt Lake and I drove there that day to go get some.  But I  learned you need to order them in advance to get some because they sell out quick!  So call ahead before you go.  Their number is: 355-2294 and the address is 216 E 500 S in SLC.   I'm sure they do catering for weddings too, I haven't asked details because all I know is they have my Kuoing-amans!  (It is pronounced like "Queen-a-men)
