Ok, so my husband and I were watching VH1's Greatest Hits of the 90's and I was reminded of some fun songs from my teenage years that would be fun at a wedding for all those who love the 90's! Here goes:
Upbeat/Party Music:
* "Jump around" House of Pain
* "Livin' la vida loca" Ricky Martin
* "No Diggity" Blackstreet
* "Everybody Dance Now" C&C Music Factory
* "Just a Girl" No Doubt
* "Whoomp! There it is"
* "Rockafeller Skank" Fat Boy Slim
* "Gettin' Jiggy wit it" Will Smith
* "Vogue" Madonna
Slow songs:
* "I'll be" Edwin McCain
* "One" U2
* "I will always love you" Whitney Houston
Ok, so there weren't many slow songs on the top 100 list. You can also go on their website and check out the whole list. I know I will be adding to my ITUNES collection
And just FYI, the #1 song of the 90's was Nirvana's "Smells like Teen Spirit". I do love that song, and if you have the right crowd, you could totally jam out to that one!

Here's some more:
We go together, like a wink and a smile-Harry Connick Jr.
You are the sunshine of my life-Frank Sinatra
I just did a wedding where they danced to "So this is Love" from Cinderella. I bet there are a lot of cute Disney songs out there that would be great too.
To get people movin':
(Line dances always work to get people out of their seats)
Boot Scootin' Boogie -everyone knows it!
YMCA
Electric Slide
That Everybody clap your hands song...don't know the right name
Stayin' Alive (I like the modern remix)
Anything with a Latin beat

How about Keeper of the Stars by Tracy Byrd and I Do by Jon Schmidt. They are great wedding songs.

Here are a few that I think are great and some are a little bit unusual- My husband and I really didn't want the standard country soundtrack for our video or dances and wanted the music to reflect our taste.
"Forever" by Ben Harper
"Keepin' It Real" by Mason Jennings
"The Very Thought of You" by Billie Holiday or Ella Fitzgerald
"The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson
"Better Together" by Jack Johnson (a tad overplayed but oh well)
"God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys
"All I Want is You" by Barry Louis Polisar (this one is pretty out there but I heart it for a video or something fun)
"Fool Says" by M Ward
"All You Need Is Love" by the Beatles
